Overview

Jagruth Bharath, (A Non-Profit organisation) came into existence on September 4th 2020 to focus on education for the underprivileged.

Out Mission

We understand our limited resources as a newly formed entity and are focused on full support to a limited number of meritorious children from underprivileged backgrounds to begin with.

We understand the impact that we can make on the socio-economic structure of their families and dependents by supporting these very deserving students and the far-reaching effects of such success stories impacting and reforming the society at large.

With the mission of Jagruth Bharath, we are aligned to three of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by United Nations.

End poverty in all its forms everywhere

Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all

Reduce income inequality within and among countries

Our activities will directly/ indirectly contribute to attain the goals for a sustainable development.

Vision

We aim to not just create educated and employed citizens who will be bread winners for themselves and their family, but leaders in their own rights creating employments as entrepreneurs or professionals, policy makers and ambassadors of governance, equality and law if they choose government service in the future.

Most importantly, we wish to create the awareness for the need of many more Jagruth Bharath’s in India

Approach

We want the students whom we sponsor to not feel that they are beneficiaries and we are the benefactors, we want them to feel that we are dependent on them to usher change, progress and motivation to the world that financial limitations are no obstacles for people who dream big.

We want them to realise that achievements and accomplishments are their responsibilities and we at Jagruth Bharath are their proud partners facilitating them.

About

While our larger mission is to provide quality education to the meritorious underprivileged kids, we are also looking to help students who are orphaned due to the current pandemic in the short term
